Joining us today to discuss Biblical studies and ancient Near Eastern history is Douglas Petrovich, a Professor of Biblical History and Exegesis at Brookes Bible College. With over 40 years of experience working in Christian service and various educational institutions, Douglas has committed his career to researching Biblical history and modeling his life after Jesus Christ.

Douglas has done extensive groundbreaking research on inscriptions of the earliest alphabetic script – which paved the way for the publication of The World’s Oldest Alphabet: Hebrew as the Language of the Proto-Consonantal Script. In this work, he is able to  illuminate the earliest Israelite history in a way that few books have achieved – apart from the Bible itself…

Want to know more about Douglas’s passion for ancient history and how it converges with the events and people of the Bible? Tune in now to see for yourself!
